Born from Daniel’s own frustrations with getting his personal car serviced, he opted to use this as an opportunity to build a brand to service the industry in a much better and more professional way.

Swifty’s Car Service Centre is the first of its kind in South Africa. We’re the first to offer a 60-minute car service in the convenience of a mall car park.

The concept of placing the brand in mall car parks is not for convenience alone. Daniel believes the industry has not catered very well for women. Placement of the brand in mall car parks will offer women of all ages a safer location to leave their car for a service or repairs. Combined with the fact that they can then do shopping at the same time, it will offer a relatively pain-free car-servicing experience.

Daniel Tall grew up on a small farm in rural Southern New Zealand. From Daniel’s earliest memory, he has always been fascinated with anything mechanical – from cars to motorcycles to boats to helicopters to jet skis. If it floats, flies, drives, or has handlebars, it's Daniel’s thing.

He is a self-confessed motor fanatic.

Now aged 45, he has built a substantial and broad knowledge of how most things mechanical work. After building a number of businesses in different industries, Daniel now has his entrepreneurial mind set on changing the car servicing industry.

Brad first fell in love with the automotive industry after growing up in his late father’s renowned panel beating shop. Peter (Brad’s Father) was known for repairing only the best cars in South Africa. If you had a Porsche, Lamborghini or Ferrari Peter was the one to repair it if it got damaged. What a way for a young automotive mind to start off in life!

It was a natural step forward for Brad to become an apprentice mechanic in 2002, later obtaining a full automotive qualification in 2006 with an Audi/VW dealership.

Brad and Daniel first met while enjoying an unusual adrenaline sport where they use small stand-up jet skis to ride large waves. The sport, being addictive, attracted the two to it instantly, and they quickly became great friends. This led to other similarly crazy sports such as enduro motorcycle racing, downhill mountain biking, quad racing etc. The two are petrol-powered adrenaline buddies at heart.

After working for himself and then later a shop manager of a leading automotive shop, Brad has decided to join his automotive buddy Daniel Tall on this exciting and innovative new concept. Brad’s leadership quality, automotive skill and methodical nature is precisely what the brand’s customer type needs.
